Los Horcones-Esmeralda Out & Back

This 48.5mi - 78km route starts on a paved road for 11 miles until we arrive at La Colorada a small town, population 395. Then we will enter a gravel road that takes us to a 20-mile gravel loop called La Esmeralda. If we want to make the ride longer, we can ride a MTB track that’s in the same location, it is a little rough for gravel but duable. This will add the ride 18-miles. The route is 50% paved and 50% gravel.
